Project Fuzzy: Hats for Hope

Warming Heads and Hearts

Warming Heads and Hearts

Project Fuzzy: Hats for Hope is a youth organization that makes children undergoing cancer treatment feel warm and fuzzy.  We achieve this warm and fuzzy mission by knitting and crocheting soft hats for pediatric cancer patients.  In addition, we make Warm Fuzzy Buddies (yarn creatures) to include with each hat.  The hats and Warm Fuzzy Buddies are donated to the Children's Hospital in Denver.

News and Updates

We are in need of yarn at the moment.  If you would like to donate to PFHH, we would greatly appreciate yarn!  We can use soft yarn that does not contain wool to make hats.  We can also use scrap yarn of any material to make Warm Fuzzy Buddies.  Please contact us using the form response if you would like to donate.  Thanks so much!

A PFHH chapter is starting at Colorado College, a private liberal arts college in Colorado Springs.  We are excited to have new members with so much enthusiasm about knitting and crocheting.  If you are a CC student and would like to join, please come to our next meeting.  Visit the Meetings page for more information.
